Lift Up Uganda partners with the nonprofit Global Access 2030 to bring filtered, clean drinking water to the people of northern Uganda.
One water filter unit will provide clean drinking water to a family for three years, with daily use.
With your help, Lift Up Uganda easily surpassed the initial 2022 goal of 200 water filter units. The program has grown significantly, and in 2024, the team provided 665 water filter units.
Each unit includes equipment, tools, test kits, buckets, filters, and onsite training and education.
There are trained, local teachers who provide important education on the proper use, care, and testing of the equipment.
Since the initiative began, the Water Team has provided over 1,200 families with clean drinking water. If you want to help continue our efforts to bring clean drinking water to families and communities in northern Uganda, consider sponsoring a water filter unit.
