Global Access 2030 (Roger Cabbage and Rob Miller) partnered with Lift Up Uganda to teach and to give water filter units to provide clean drinking water to needy families.

As a trial in 2022, 200 families were able to have this life-saving equipment. With this success, in 2023, 400 families were registered, a coordinator was found for each village, and four Ugandans were selected as teachers who could teach in the native language of Luo. Also, regular water testing and home follow-up could be accomplished. The St. Nektarios Health Center, Primary School, and all clergy were also given water filter units.

In 2024, 665 families from very remote villages were included in the water for Uganda project, bringing the total number of families to over 1,200 who have the gift of clean water.

Plans are underway to continue our partnership of teaching and distributing water filter units.
