Young people are urged to share their ideas for projects in their communities. These projects involve needy children who live in these areas and are created to benefit them.

Lift Up Uganda contributes funds to those projects that support LUU goals. Most of the youth projects contribute to education.

These youth projects are meant to teach youngsters various skills that might promote and enhance their futures. The experience of working as a team to meet a specific goal is priceless.

Goat Herds

In some locations, goat herds were started, and these herds enabled young people to learn about feeding, caring, and protecting animals. Livestock management became a part of this experience and is viewed as a viable option for future job opportunities and self-sufficiency.

    Youth Garden

Lift Up Uganda sponsors an Orthodox Youth Garden. Land rental, seeds, and tools are provided by Lift Up Uganda while the work is provided by members of the Youth Garden Initiative. Vegetables are grown, cared for, and eventually harvested and sold at market. The money raised from these sales is applied to school fees for those in need.

Like the goat herding, the garden teaches youth about farming and land management which may lead to future jobs and self-sufficiency.

The foundation of education is teaching and through teaching comes learning which culminates with the knowledge of how to navigate the future. Lift Up Uganda supports the youth of northern Uganda, for they are the future.
